Planning & Evaluation
This Coalition committee collects and analyzes quantitative and qualitative data on maternal-child health; fetal and infant morbidity and mortality; prenatal care; community resources, etc., through published and unpublished research studies, state and county data collection; local FIMR (Fetal and Infant Mortality Review) data. Committee members also conduct surveys, interviews, and focus groups with pregnant women, current clients, Coalition members, and the community. The Committee utilizes this data to develop and update the Coalition’s Service Delivery Plan and Annual Action Plan in accordance with the Healthy Start Standards and Guidelines. The committee is open to professionals with an interest or experience in data collection and analysis, health program administration; public health planning; or maternal-child health care. The Planning & Evaluation Committee meets monthly.
