JFCS has offered services to Healthy Start clients for many years. In their convenient location on Fruitville Road, the following counselors are available for Healthy Start clients:
Wendy Kulscar, LCSW: Wendy usually works with older adults, but enjoys working on relationship issues with couples.
Beverly Mishkin, LCSW: Beverly enjoys working with a variety of clients including couples, families, and children.
Maram Schuster, LCSW: Maram enjoys working with individuals and couples. She is a hypnotherapist and also works with those who want to quit smoking.
Steve Steiner, LCSW: Steve is a family therapist. He enjoys working with children of all ages and adolescents. He has developed expertise in the area of play therapy with children, yet also likes to work with adults in couple’s therapy.
Marcy Stern, EdD, LMHC: Marcy offers services in English and Spanish and focuses mainly on adolescent and family therapy. She also has expertise in Substance Abuse Prevention, Pain Management, Traumatic Stress Disorders, couples and individual therapy. She is the facilitator for the Power of Women group.
Caolyn Stevens, LCSW: Carolyn provides counseling services in Venice.
